Bay Path University offering full tuition scholarship through Signature Scholarship competition

Bay Path University is pleased to announce several scholarship opportunities available to first time students through the college’s Signature Scholarship competition program, which provides a limited number of scholarship awards, ranging from $1,000 to full tuition to prospective first time, first-year residential college students entering in the fall of 2021.

Four scholarships offer four levels of financial support to exceptional students demonstrating both high academic achievement and distinct personal accomplishments, the pinnacle being the Presidential Scholarship Award, which covers the full cost of tuition for four years at Bay Path University.

In addition to submitting a college application and transcripts, scholarship hopefuls must write a 750-word essay describing how they define resilience based upon their own experiences and observations. Submissions are due Monday, January 8, 2021 at midnight.

“These scholarships demonstrate our commitment to supporting ambitious, driven women and making a transformative Bay Path education more accessible to them,” says Sandra Doran, the University’s president. “The determination and influence these students bring to our community is invaluable, and we’re honored to have them on our campus.”

“The Signature Scholarship Competition is something that I will remember for the rest of my life,” says Abigail DeLor, a forensic science major from Gansevoort, New York and the winner of the 2020 Presidential Scholarship. “The competition gave me the opportunity to bypass the worries of paying tuition bills and allowed me to completely focus on my education.” Bay Path is committed to empowering women to become leaders in their careers and communities through an accessible college education. In addition to offering free tuition to Pell-eligible students, the University awarded more than $9,000,000 in scholarship and grant aid last year.
