Bay Path University Announces New Graduate Certificate in Digital Transformation

At Bay Path University, we have been engaged in the transformation of our enrollment marketing and management systems throughout the pandemic. We have also accelerated the development of wraparound support systems for our students that allow them to focus on their studies and minimize the time spent on registering for or changing courses, paying their tuition, monitoring their progress, etc. More recently, we’ve been collecting and analyzing data that allow us to anticipate student needs and provide academic assistance often before a student realizes they need it!

These are but a few examples of relatively simple digital transformation initiatives in a higher education setting. The insurance, financial services, healthcare, and manufacturing industries have been deeply engaged in digital transformation during the pandemic as well. Access to cloud-based data storage and computing make it possible to implement transitions like this without significant capital investment. Many of these capabilities can now be outsourced and paid for on a fee for service basis. Algorithms designed for higher education and virtually every industry are now readily available to help study all forms of transactions and see patterns in our data that can improve efficiencies and introduce new and
better products and services for our customers.

Bay Path’s new 3-course, online Graduate Certificate in Digital Transformation is designed to:

  • help you understand the nature and scope of the full range of Industry 4.0 technologies;
  • provide you with hands-on learning experiences that will help you relate to the opportunities and threats associated with these technologies in your organization; and
  • provide you with a forum for sharing your thoughts with colleagues in a safe, virtual learning environment.

Ultimately, this will allow you to develop an action plan for change and development in your organization, opening new career opportunities for you and your colleagues.

Registration for the first course in the Graduate Certificate in Digital Transformation program is currently open. The online course begins on May 2, 2022. Classes will be limited to 25 students on a first come, first served basis. Students can take one course or all three, in sequential order.
