Amherst Knights of Columbus sell $1.29 million in downtown real estate
Businessman Barry Roberts has purchased the former Knights of Columbus Amherst Council property at 37 North Pleasant St. and 37 Boltwood Walk for $1.29 million. Roberts said the front of the property, the Pleasant Street side, is occupied by McMuphy’s Uptown Tavern and the chock-full-of antiques Amherst Typewriter & Computer shop. Upstairs office space on the Pleasant Street side, space once leased to the Boys & Girls Club, is available, Roberts said.
