A company that distributes custom machine tools is expanding and hiring, thanks in part to a package of tax incentives from the city and the state. ABLE Machine Tools, now in an 11,000 square-foot building at 253 Silver St., is building a new, 18,000 square-foot facility at 800 Silver St., investing more than $ 2 million. ‘We’re pretty cramped here now, and we’re growing,’ said Alan Lockery, the company’s president and co-founder. Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito and Mayor William Sapelli visited both sites Thursday.
