6TH ANNUAL DOWNTOWN SPRINGFIELD FARMERS’ MARKET TO OPEN THIS FRIDAY, MAY 21 AT NEW LOCATION, DURYEA WAY

Downtown Springfield, MA– Meet us in Downtown, where friends and families from our community can access the freshest, locally grown Western Mass produce and products. After over a year of not being able to host the annual market due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Springfield Business Improvement District is excited to bring the weekly event to the heart of downtown’s residential neighborhood and dining district.

The 6^th Annual Downtown Springfield Farmers’ Market presented by Westfield Bank kicks-off this Friday, May 21^st, at its new location Duryea Way. The weekly event will take place every Friday, 11am – 4pm, through September, weather permitting.

Vendors include Springfield’s own, Bumpy’s Natural and Organic Foods offering fresh produce, plants, and more, The Farm Shop & Café from Hadley, Ma offering seasonal fruits, vegetables and meat and cheese shares, The Flower Shed will have succulents, planting workshops, fresh cut flowers later in the season, plus many more vendors.
