$3M grant for Springfield summer community-based programming
Springfield Public Schools and city officials will join Tuesday to celebrate a state grant to support summer community-based programs. Mayor Domenic Sarno and Springfield Superintendent Daniel Warwick will announce the two-year, $3 million grant Tuesday afternoon. It will benefit the Springfield Empowerment Zone for Summer and Afterschool community-based programs.
