$1.9M in federal grants aid job training for public housing residents across Massachusetts

Housing agencies across the state, including in Holyoke and Springfield, received a total of $1.9 million in grants Thursday from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to help residents access job training and other services.“This funding will help our local Massachusetts partners provide families with the educational and economic opportunities they need to build a more prosperous future for themselves and their children,” said David Tille, HUD New England regional administrator.
