Smith & Wesson parent American Outdoor Brands buys laser sight, laser training company LaserLyte

Smith & Wesson bought Crimson Trace for $95 million in 2016 before changing its name to American Outdoor Brands. Both moves, along with Tuesday’s purchase of LaserLyte, were part of a long-term strategy to diversify into hunting and camping equipment, shooting accessories and gunsmith tools and equipment.
