DevelopSpringfield seeks to begin renovations at historic Maple St. school
A million-dollar plan to renovate the former Springfield Female Seminary, one of Springfield’s oldest buildings, into small offices and co-working space for entrepreneurs seems to be finally moving forward. DevelopSpringfield, a nonprofit funded in part by MassMutual that buys and rehabs troubled properties, advertised this month for contractors for the WorkHub at 77 Maple project. Bids are due Jan. 3.
