SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan Webinar

Below you will find a link to a recorded webinar on the SBA EIDL loans.  This is a comprehensive presentation.  The first half is the overview of the SBA Disaster loans and process. The second half is a page by page review of the application process with questions answered at the end.

Please note that during the presentation there is mention of selecting your particular county….DO NOT select county, all counties are now included, just select “Massachusetts only”.

As of Monday the deferment of the first payment is now 12 MONTHS from the date of the promissory note.

Additionally, Please keep in mind there is an unprecedented demand for these loans and on the system.  I’m receiving feedback that uploading documents sometimes causes the applicant to be logged out and/or can take hours to upload (please try to minimize the size of the .pdf file, google it).  Worst case scenario the documents can be emailed to the disaster center at: disastercustomerservice@sba.gov   or it can be mailed as per below;

Applicants may apply online, receive additional disaster assistance information and download applications at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela. Applicants may also call SBA’s Customer Service Center at (800) 659-2955 or email disastercustomerservice@sba.gov for more information on SBA disaster assistance. Individuals who are deaf or hard-of-hearing may call (800) 877-8339. Completed applications should be mailed to U.S. Small Business Administration, Processing and Disbursement Center, 14925 Kingsport Road, Fort Worth, TX 76155.

The deadline to apply for an Economic Injury Disaster Loan is Dec. 18, 2020.

Lastly the Disaster Center phone line wait time is in hours, our National leadership is aware and bringing more resources to bear as soon as possible.
