FORM FOR QUESTIONS ON THE PLAN

The State is working through inquiries submitted regarding Reopening Massachusetts. Please note that every form containing comments is being reviewed and compiled, but only questions will receive a response. If businesses have reviewed the available guidance and have additional questions, they may submit an inquiry form here. Please share this link with businesses in your communities that have questions about reopening in Phase 1.

We’d appreciate if folks would refrain from duplicating forms on a single inquiry/question, as we are working through tremendous volume and aim to be as timely as possible in our replies.

Please share What Businesses Can Expect in Phase 1 with your communities, as it condenses key information to a one-pager to guide businesses.

REMINDER ON PANDEMIC EMERGENCY UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION (PEUC)

Last week, the Administration announced that Massachusetts residents who are eligible for the federal CARES Act and qualify for having exhausted their regular unemployment compensation may receive Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation (PEUC).

As we’ve shared before, the PEUC program provides up to 13 weeks of unemployment insurance benefits to individuals who have exhausted their previous unemployment benefits. Individuals who have exhausted their UI benefits on or after July 6, 2019 may receive PEUC. Visit www.mass.gov/peuc for more information on eligibility and how to apply.
