Coronavirus: Westfield offering $200,000 in relief funds for small business

The city office of Community Development is making more than $200,000 available to small businesses through three programs designed to keep mom and pop shops from closing permanently as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Community Development Block Grant Coordinator Leanne Cloutier said the funds are coming to Westfield from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act passed March 27 by the federal government.
