Baystate Children’s Hospital awarded $100K to help take care of those with pediatric cancer
Baystate Children’s Hospital was awarded a $100,000 check from ‘Hyundai Hope on Wheels’ this Monday afternoon. The theme of this year’s event was ‘Hope Lights the Way.’ Through ‘Hyundai Hope on Wheels’ efforts, families who have children facing cancer will receive innovative treatments, without taking a financial hit.
Every 36 minutes, a child in the U.S. is diagnosed with pediatric cancer. More than 44 children every day receive this devastating news, including here locally. ‘Hyundai Hope on Wheels’ stepped in to present a check to help provide financial support for Baystate Children’s Hospital cancer patients and their families.
